A little help with your library.
Glint is a free photo and video organizer for iPhone and iPad, with no ads or account required. Here are answers to common questions.
How do I start?
Complete onboarding and choose the Photos access you want to grant. Swipe right to keep an item or left to queue it for deletion. Open the queue, review the items, and confirm only when you are ready.
Why are some items missing?
With limited Photos access, Glint can only show the items you selected. You can change the selection or permission in system Settings. Kept items are excluded from new groups by default; enable their reappearance in Glint's Settings if you want to review them again.
Why won't a cloud photo or video load?
An item stored in iCloud may need an internet connection and time to download through Photos. Try opening the item in Apple's Photos app and then return to Glint. Some metadata or file sizes may be unavailable until the underlying resource is accessible.
Can I undo a deletion?
While reviewing a group, you can undo the last swipe or remove items from the deletion queue. After a confirmed system deletion, open Photos > Recently Deleted to recover an item if it is still available, normally within 30 days. With iCloud Photos, deletion and recovery can affect your other synced devices.
Why didn't available storage increase?
Glint shows estimates for locally readable files, not a measurement of storage reclaimed. Deleted items may still be in Recently Deleted, and iCloud or system storage management can affect the actual result. Check device storage in system Settings for the current amount.
Do I need to pay or register?
No. All features are free, including groups of 5–50 items, cleanup without a daily quota, and all statistics. The app has no accounts, ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
What should I include in a support message?
Include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, Glint version from Settings, the steps that caused the issue, and whether Photos access is full or limited. Describe whether the affected item is local or in iCloud. Use non-sensitive examples; do not send your whole library.
